Verizon customers who felt shortchanged over the absence of the Nexus 6 on their favorite network can now rejoice as leaked internal presentation images show the flagship Google smartphone coming to Verizon on February 26.

According to an anonymous image tip sent to tech news site Android Police, a schedule was shown off during a company presentation with the Nexus 6 taking a starring role on the 26th. Other notable dates on the schedule include a global pricing refresh on February 19, the Indy Car 15 App on February 23, the budget-minded Samsung Galaxy Core Prime coming to Verizon on March 5, and the Droid Turbo coming in Sapphire Blue on March 12.

While the Verizon version of the Nexus 6 is expected to feature the same hardware as the other carrier (and non-carrier) versions, you can bet that the case will be emblazoned with the familiar Verizon "V" logo on the back. The Verizon version is also expected to feature some of the carrier's own apps, including MyVerizon and Visual Voicemail.

When the Nexus 6 first launched in November right along with Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop mobile operating system, the manufacturer made it clear that the phone would be available through Google Play's and Motorola Mobility's stores as an unlocked version, but also through T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular with service agreements in place. Best Buy is also the exclusive brick-and-mortar retailer for the Google phone, and it was mentioned at the very beginning that Verizon would be getting its own version, but a date wasn't given.

The Nexus 6 features a 6-inch display pumping out 2560 x 1440 resolution (at 493 pixels per inch), a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32/64 GB of storage, a 3,220 mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel rear camera.

No price has yet been mentioned for the Verizon contracted phone, but both the AT&T and Sprint variants sell for $249 with a two-year contract.

The other interesting phone that appears on that leaked schedule is Samsung's Galaxy Core Prime, which was originally released back in November for the international market. The phone is considered a lower-budget option for those looking for simple functionality at a low price.

The Galaxy Core features a 4.5-inch display running at 800 x 480 resolution, a Snapdragon 410 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and only 8 GB of storage.

And the mention of the Sapphire Blue Droid Turbo means that fans of that phone won't be stuck with the red and black color scheme options when the blue model launches on March 12.

As for the "Indy Car '15 App" listed on the leaked image, that's most likely referring to an update to that Verizon-exclusive game that's currently available for Android devices. According to the game's Google Play page, it was just updated on February 5 so another update on the 23rd is a good possibility.

And what does that "Global Pricing Refresh" mean for next week? Details aren't available, but we can only hope that it means lower prices for the older model devices on the Verizon network.
