The Walking Dead Season 6 Mid-Season Premiere Date and Spoilers; Hilltop Colony, Negan, The True Fate Of Glenn all Leading up to Season 7

The Walking Dead Season 6 begins.
A new set from The Walking Dead Season 6. The Spoiling Dead

The Walking Dead Season 6 has had quite an opening this year with the big controversy with everyone wondering if Glenn being alive or not.  Now that the AMC zombie show has had a wrap-up of its midseason finale, it has led viewers wondering what is going to happen next.  The spoilers are really out there already if you look at its comic book source material, which reveals developments after The Walking Dead Mid-Season Premiere Release Date Spoilers like the Hilltop Colony, Negan, and the true fate of Glenn.

According to Design and Trend, one of the biggest reveals that is already revealed is the Hilltop Colony.  This is another survivor camp that is close to Alexandria survival zone, run by a man named Gregory.  Gregory is quite a man, but he is not willing to fight. It is expected that in Season 6 that Rick and the other survivors will ally with him.  How do we know that?  Well, as the image reveals, the set has already under construction.  It looks like Xander Berkeley, who has appeared in many films and TV shows, will be playing a role that is identical to Gregory.

Tom Payne will play the role of Jesus.  If you aren't familiar with Jesus in the context of The Walking Dead, Jesus isn't his real name, but a nickname, as he looks like the traditional image of Jesus Christ.  Jesus is a man who started out as a messenger in the graphic novel source material, and it wasn't really known whether he was friend or foe. Jesus met up with Abraham and Michonne outside of Alexandria on a supply run, and they don't take chances with him.  After the hostilities are quenched, Jesus becomes quite an ally and will probably be introduced before season 6 ends.

The biggest development that all of The Walking Dead fans is Negan.  In the post-credit scene of the midseason finale, Abraham, Sasha, and Daryl are approached by the Saviors, who demand the supplies.  The Saviors run essentially a "protection" operation, and they have an operation on Hilltop.  Negan is their leader, and he is a complete sociopath devoid of mortality, being played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan of Watchmen's "The Comedian" fame.

Now this is where the spoiling starts.  The Walking Dead issue 100 is considered a landmark shocking moment in the series as not only did it introduce Negan, but it showed him killing Glenn with a barbed-wire baseball bat.  Granted, the television show has been known to stray from its comic book source material, but this one might make fans really mad.  Considering all the hubbub that happened a few weeks ago when it was thought that Glenn was dead, this moment would be a terrific season-ender.  Especially as The Walking Dead has been known for teasing audiences with characters who survive so much hardship, and then get quickly dispatched, like Beth from Season 5.

It is Glenn's death that motivates Rick to attempt a rebellion against Negan's group.  Actually, Rick initially surrenders, but plans a secret uprising to take Negan and his Saviors by force and have the advantage of surprise.  This eventually leads to an "All Out War" as survivors go up against the Saviors, which would make for an undeniably epic The Walking Dead Season 7. In the meantime, AMC's The Walking Dead will return on February 14, 2016.
