Don't you think that it is long overdue for Apple to roll out a successor to the MacBook Pro 2016 and the MacBook Air 2016? Obviously thinner and lighter will be part of the agenda, with rumors of Touch ID and an OLED touchscreen, not to mention a Q4 release date for the MacBook Pro 2016. As for the MacBook Air 2016, that might be a non-starter for all concerned with whispers that Apple is going to discontinue the model. News about Apple's special event this March is now spreading online. The company is expected to launch revamped iPad Air and the four-inch iPhone SE at the next keynote event, which is scheduled on March 21. We've collected the latest information around the web, so you'll know when is the next Apple Keynote event and iPad Air 3, iPhone SE release date and features.

The Apple March Event is believed to have been pushed back, after several online reports initially pointed March 15 is the launching of new Apple devices. Earlier this year, March 15 event update flooded tech websites. But weeks before the reported event was due to take place, Buzzfeed reported it has been postponed by a week.

The media event is rumored to be a "smaller scale event," according to Express.  The keynote event is set to take place on the Apple campus in Cupertino, California. As for the time of the said occasion, Apple has not yet announced any details.

MacWorld reported Apple's March 21 event will feature iPad Air 3, which previously rumored to be launched October last year.  Fans expected the company will release new iPad product in the first quarter of 2016.

Apple conducted other keynote events in March over the years. In 2015, the tech giant launched Apple Watch and MacBook. In 2012, the iPad 3 was released. These events all happened in March.

As for the features of Apple iPad Air 3, it will boast a powerful processor.  Expect A9X chip (as found in the iPad Pro) will appear in the upcoming Apple tablet. It will also have a smaller Smart Keyboard for productivity purposes.

On other hand, the iPhone SE will feature Touch ID button, which is compatible with Apple Pay and VoLTE.  The 4-inch iPhone will be available with 16GB and 64 GB storage variant.

Aside from iPhone SE and iPad Air 3, the March keynote event will present new line of Apple Watch straps. This could include new Sports Band options, new colors for the Hermes bands, a black version of the Milanese Lopp and brand-new line up of bands made from different materials. Moreover, the company could also announce updates in Apple Watch software.

With these new announcements, Apple hopes to boost its sales after months of decline. The Street reported the company's stocks are dropping.  From $134 last year, it went $92.39 on January 28. Good thing, earlier this week the stock finally pushed back above $100 again.
