By now, WWE 2K16 has been out since last year, and the DLC (Downloadable Content) has been a gracious gift to players.  This has definitely created a lot of anticipation for WWE 2K17, and this is what is known about WWE 2K17 Release Date and Roster.

So far, there is very little known about WWE 2K17, other than reports like one from iDigitalTimes saying that the Game Publisher 2K and World Wrestling Entertainment have signed a new multi-year agreement to keep 2K as the exclusive publisher of WWE games.  This means that fans of the game will be pleased that WWE 2K17 will be coming next year.  What is interesting is that 2K has also retained the rights to other WWE games such as WWE SuperCard, a mobile card-battling game featuring the WWE Superstars.

Much of the "news" for WWE 2K17 is a lot of speculation, and there are sites completely devoted to it.  As far as the cover is concerned, the fansite of WWE2K17 News want to see The Undertaker, as they claim that "no one deserves the place more than The Undertaker does".  Considering that he might be at the end of his career with his last WrestleMania, it would be a good way to honor him, as well as giving him a showcase mode.

WWE 2K17 News also has a full Roster Prediction.  Rather than list the names here, I will link here so you can see the 119 big names in wrestling for yourself here.  There is also a report of the WWE Divas coming to the game which include fan demands for the Four Horsewomen with Bayley, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch.

The WWE 2K17 Game site has a Wish List of what fans want to see on the game.  Though it doesn't look official, it includes the following like having more moves, like what the actual wrestlers have on television.   Something like Austin's rebounding elbow drop could be made into a single move, creating more realism.

Realism seems to be the demand of the fans for WWE 2K17.  Some want the option of the ability to fight in a crowd, or standing on a table to jump toward an opponent, for example.  Some like the idea of creating one's own commentary, as well as the optional mutual respect and disrespect chosen.

Customization is also the demand, as many fans are also wanting a "create a storyline mode" for their superstars to really create more drama, not to mention the option of creating a promo.  They also want to create a finisher, as well as the option of speaking one's own words in the game.

Perhaps 2K will listen to fans and make these new potential features a priority.  With WWE 2K16 having its release date near the end of October last year, it stands to reason that WWE 2K17 will be out in October of 2016 for its formal release date.  This could be the year that it isn't available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but that remains to be seen.
