WWE will broadcast a spectacular event pay per view event with their Royal Rumble, to air on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 8 Eastern/ 5 Pacific. The event will take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and it will be a 30-man Royal Rumble match, with the winner receiving a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestlemania 31. According to Cage Side Seats, the announced field for the 2015 Royal Rumble includes Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Rusev, Bad News Barrett, and Bray Wyatt, so far.
Wrestleview stated that Roman Reigns declared himself as first entrant in this event, followed shortly after by Daniel Bryan. The announcement by Bryan was met with jubilations by his fans, as it was thought that his health would put him out of the match. WWE United States Champion Rusev then announced his participation at Royal Rumble 2015 on the January 9th episode of Main Event, and PW Insider reports that Rusev declared that "29 other men will fall before his feet". Then on the January 9th episode of Smackdown, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barett and Bray Wyatt announced they will be entering the Royal Rumble.
According to Cage Side Seats, John Cena and Brock Lesnar will compete for the WWE world heavyweight title, for the third time in the last six pay per view events. This should be quite a match as the two competitors have split those meetings, but Cena's win came by way of disqualification. Is this to be their final showdown? It certainly is being promoted that way. Then there the possibility of Seth Rollins (no relation to the writer of this article) will be coming in with a contract for another title shot, the third match between the champ, Lesnar, and Cena since SummerSlam 2014.
One of the biggest rumors, according to Inquistir, was the basic assumption that Roman Reigns was going to take WWE Royal Rumble 2015, which would mean he would take on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. There is also a rumor going on that Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan will have a match.

There will most like be a lot of entries into the field that will be complete surprises, as well as some debut wrestlers to follow for this new year. One rumor is that Sting will be a surprise entry.
