Xbox Live Games With Gold Free Games For November 2015: Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Confirmed

Software giant Microsoft on Monday officially released a list of new games available for Xbox One and Xbox 360 with Gold membership for free download. Avid fans, players and Gold members can avail of the free games this month via Xbox Store online or directly on the consoles.

The new games Xbox One and Xbox 360 with Gold members that can be downloaded for free are Pneuma: Breath of Life on Xbox One and Dirt 3 on Xbox 360, reported Game Spot.

The website reported, "Xbox One owners may want to download Dirt 3 even if they don't have a Xbox 360, as the game--and all subsequent Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles, are backwards-compatible. The Xbox One update that introduces backward compatibility support arrives on November 12. In addition, Xbox One owners can still pick up The Walking Dead Season One, as it remains free until November 15."

Microsoft also announced November's Games With Gold titles. The November 2015 Games With Gold Lineup are:

Xbox One: Pneuma: Breath of Life (November 1-30) and Knight Squad (November 16-December 15); Xbox 360: Dirt 3 (November 1-15) and Dungeon Siege III (November 16-30).

The official Microsoft's Xbox website described Pneuma, "Pneuma: Breath of Life is an enthralling first person puzzler putting gamers' minds to the test in a visually stunning world using Unreal Engine 4 and Physically Based Rendering. Pneuma provides players with a sense of awe and a relentless determination to solve every puzzle and progress through a narrated story of self-discovery, exploring the fundamental nature of being. This is the first person puzzler of 2015 which is designed to force players to think outside the box and explore beyond what they know as reality," reads a description of the game posted on Microsoft's Xbox website.

While Amazon writes this product description about Dirt 3, "DiRT 3 delivers mud, sweat and gears the world over: from the intense weather-beaten rally stages of Europe, Africa, and the US. The game boasts more cars, more locations, more routes and more events than any other game in the series. Gamers can test their car control to the very limit and drift, spin-dry and jump their way to stardom. For the first time in the Dirt series, players will enjoy the unique and exhilarating spectacle of racing on snow."

Also, Microsoft has announced that starting this month, all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One, giving players double the free games to play each month-two for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360. With Xbox One Backward Compatibility, play multiplayer with your friends no matter that console they're on and enjoy Xbox 360 games with the advanced features of your Xbox One, including Game DVR, Screenshots, and in-home streaming to Windows 10.
