Xbox Live Gold members get two new Games with Gold every month on Xbox One starting this July. That means, with two games on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360, gamers can now enjoy four free games every month.

First announced during E3 2013, the Games with Gold program offers free Xbox 360 games to users who purchase Gold-level memberships for Xbox Live. The program was extended to the new Xbox One console one year later.

Microsoft's selection of its free games for Xbox Live Gold members is definitely impressive, including Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and So Many Me for the Xbox One, and Plants vs. Zombies and Gears of War 3 for the Xbox 360.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, follows the story of the fearsome young privateer-turned-pirate, Edward Kenway and is ready for download until July 31st, said Tech Times while players can enjoy So Many Me for free download starting on the 16th of this month until August 15.

The hugely popular Plants vs. Zombies is currently available for download until July 15th, while Gears of War 3 can be downloaded beginning July 16th until the end of this month.

Will Tuttle, Xbox Wire's editor-in-chief, commented on the latest release, "This July represents two full years since we began giving Xbox Live Gold members access to amazing games to play with your friends. As a special thank you to our members and all Xbox fans, we're announcing that starting in July; Gold members get more with two new Games with Gold every month on Xbox One!"

Xbox Live Gold is a membership-based program for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. Members of the Xbox Live Gold will enjoy the perks by getting one free title for download per month as well as exclusive discounts of up to 75% off games in the Xbox Store.

Remember to go to the Gold members' area on the 1st and 16th to get your awesome games and build your collection.

Players with active Xbox Live Gold memberships (excluding trial memberships and "free Gold" weekends) may download the games during their respective availability periods. When downloaded, the game belongs to the user even if they subsequently drop their Xbox Live Gold membership. Two titles are released a month, with the exception of April 2015 (which saw the release of four games, two in each half) and June 2014 (which saw a third game released alongside the second to celebrate the one year anniversary of the program). The first game is free to download from the first of the month until the fifteenth, and then the second being available to download from the sixteenth until the end of the month.

Unlike Xbox 360 Games with Gold releases, Xbox One users must maintain their Xbox Live Gold memberships in order to keep access to downloaded titles. Should the user drop their membership, access is suspended until the membership is reinstated or the game is purchased outright.

The complete list of July titles for Xbox Live Gold members include the following:

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag: Starting July 1-31 on Xbox One

So Many Me: Starting July 16-August 15 on Xbox One

Plants vs. Zombies: Starting July 1-15 on Xbox 360

Gears of War 3: Starting July 16-31 on Xbox 360
