AMC has just unleashed 'The Walking Dead' Season 5 teaser trailer, which shows the series' babysitters fleeing from the undead.

On Sunday, the cable network posted on YouTube a clip from the first episode of the newest season for 'The Walking Dead' (TWD):

Tyreese (Chad L. Coleman) and Carol (Melissa McBride) are seen running away across the railroad tracks while carrying Rick's baby daughter Judith. All the while, they are being tailed by a ravenous horde of flesh-eating zombies.

There are still a lot of questions that will need to be answered in the fifth season -- for example, the fate of the protagonists trapped in the scary train car at the Season 4 finale. Earlier this year, it was rumored that Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) had died, but this speculation was later debunked by TWD fans.

It is not clear how the scene from the recent sneak-peek will fit into the plot for TWD Season 5, which airs on the AMC network in October 2014.

Between Seasons 5-6 of 'The Walking Dead', AMC will be releasing a TWD companion series that will debut sometime in 2015.
