Halo 5 Guardians Release Date, Pre-Orders, Price for Xbox One: More Details Coming at E3 2015

Halo 5: Guardians is happening.
Coming for Xbox One on October 27th.

There has been much anticipation for the release of Halo 5: Guardians, and the release date has finally been confirmed by Microsoft for an Xbox One exclusivity on October 27th this year, just in time for the holidays.  It is even possible to pre-order the game now, for a price dependent on how much of a fan you are of Halo.  The story will involve contention between Master Chief and Spartan Locke, and rumor has it that the Illuminati will be involved.

With the announcement of the release date came two new trailers.  None of these trailers show any kind of gameplay whatsoever, but instead focus on some live-action dialogue between the two main protagonists, Spartan Lock and the now iconic Master Chief.  The trailers are very much alike, with each one saying how much they want to hunt and kill the other.

According to Geek Snack, details on Halo 5: Guardians are still very scarce, especially when it comes to the story.   It is possible that the game could have multiple endings, but any revelations of the story will probably take place at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held annually at the Los Angeles Convention Center.  Considering that E3 is often a place for Halo-related announcements, I suppose there could be much said on June 16-18, the date of this year's E3.

The Halo 5: Guardians trailers has caused a bit of controversy lately as a symbol of the Illuminati appeared on the latest trailers.  This Luciferian symbol was hidden in both the Spartan Locke and Master Chief trailers, and there is a hint in the video footage of "the truth is never what it seems".  According to Venture Capital Post, the game developer does not make any discussion about this issue.  Considering that Hunt the Truth website that showed up before the announcement, it wouldn't surprise me if the Illuminati showed up somewhere.

Those unfamiliar with video game worlds have at least heard of Halo, the massively successful video game franchise that Microsoft designed to put the Xbox on the map, and it has had four massively successful iterations.  Two years ago, at E3, Microsoft announced a new entry in the Halo series, and Halo 5: Guardians had its third and final week of beta testing last January, and it focuses a lot on multiplayer experience in an arena-like atmosphere.

The release of a new Halo offering is very important to Microsoft now, as it will be the first time a Halo game will be on the Xbox One, and will probably be only on the Xbox One.  This will make the Halo 5 game exclusive to Microsoft's current-gen system, and will undoubtedly sell many copies of the game and the system for the holiday season.   The Halo 5: Guardians game is planned to be released along with a TV series on Showtime that will be produced by Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott, according to Tech Times.

Halo 5: Guardians is is available for pre-order on the Halo Way Point site. It is also possible to pre-order Halo 5: Guardians now on sites like Gamestop.  The game is about $59.99, with a Limited Edition for $99.99 and a Limited Collector's Edition for $249.99.
