The Los Angeles Lakers are the Cinderella team in the NBA this season as they attempt to transform into a playoffs team following the Kobe Bryant retirement year. With former Golden State Warriors coach Luke Walton guiding D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson as well as ex-Miami Heat star Luol Deng carrying the team, the Larry Nance Jr. squad appears to be rallying towards a better season. However, it looks like more star power especially in the locker room is in order. Will a minimum Chris Bosh contract solve this problem?

The divorce of the Miami Heat and Chris Bosh is long overdue. With the exit of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, the former Toronto Raptors star is the remaining member of the Big Three that brought back to back championships to the Pat Riley squad. However, it looks like an NBA trade would be in order if the Miami Heat plans to get anything out of the massive Chris Bosh contract they signed before his health issues became serious problems.

Not the end of basketball for Chris Bosh

Although the Miami Heat insist on the health issues to be the reasons behind their decision to put a halt to future Chris Bosh contract talks, the former teammate of LeBron James refuses to succumb to the pressure. Despite his health issues, which the Hassan Whiteside team sees as life-threatening, the former Toronto Raptors star is still optimistic over a potential NBA comeback.

"According to a league-employed source connected to Bosh, the mindset at the moment is that he's more likely to attempt a comeback next season than this season," revealed Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

This information coincides with the earlier claims of Chris Bosh who insisted that his time in the Miami Heat might have ended, but his basketball career is far from reaching its conclusion. These pronouncements made fans wonder on which NBA team would the last member of the Miami Heat's Big Three finish his career? Will he reunite with Dwyane Wade in the Chicago Bulls? Will the Cleveland Cavaliers sign him to rejoin LeBron James? Or will he return to the Toronto Raptors?

Lakers need Chris Bosh contract for young stars
