The Golden State Warriors achieved an emotional comeback when they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the heart-stopping Game 7 of the NBA playoffs 2016 in the Western Conference. With Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson finally putting to a halt the questions on their dominance in the division, it looks like the 2015-15 NBA champs have no intention of stopping their pursuit of greatness anytime soon. Reports are now surfacing that amid the NBA Finals preparations against the Cleveland Cavaliers of LeBron James, the Golden State Warriors are also getting ready for the widely anticipate Kevin Durant free agency battle.

While the Russell Westbrook squad will undoubtedly exhaust all means to keep Kevin Durant in the roster, the desire to finally have a championship ring reportedly pushes the 2014 NBA MVP to look elsewhere. At the moment, the basketball squads aiming to sign KD include the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors. If Durant truly wants a championship, then where better team to go to than the record-breaking Stephen Curry team?

At the moment, the Golden State Warriors are mum on the possibility of signing Durant. However, it looks like the excitement of potentially becoming teammates with such an amazing NBA star overwhelmed some members of the Klay Thompson team. Andre Iguodala, who served as KD's guard in Game 7, probably hinted on the Golden State Warriors' plans for the pending free agency.

"He made some really tough shots, which is what I expected," shared Iguodala of Durant. The Golden State Warriors star added, "He's a fighter and competitor and fought to the end. It must be fun playing with a guy like that."

Catching his faux pas and realizing its implications, Iguodala immediately attempted to clarify his comments. He explained, "Unless I'm not playing with him."

Apart from Iguodala, it looks like Kevin Durant also found a fan in Stephen Curry. After the historic Warriors vs OKC Game 7, the 2015-16 NBA MVP shared his admiration for KD. According to Curry, Durant brings "greatness" in the hardwood court - a quality that makes playing with or against him such an honor for any basketball star.

"He's been to the Finals six times," Curry shared of Durant. He added, "That's crazy. You appreciate that greatness right there. I won't be thinking about that on the court, but afterwards, you can appreciate the star power he brings and the high level of basketball it is."

As for the main man of the coming free agency period, Kevin Durant admitted that he has yet to come to a decision. The NBA All-Star shared that he will use the remaining time he has to determine the best steps forward. Despite the urgency of his free agency though, KD shared that he also wants to spend time with his Oklahoma City Thunder "brothers" after everything they went through this NBA season.

"We will figure it out," said Durant of his free agency. He added, "I will talk to my agent, my best friend and my dad, just talk to those three guys and get some advice from other people. But for the most part, I will talk to them in the next couple of weeks. I don't even know where my mind is right now. I can't think about what is going to happen in a month. I'm just thinking about what we've all been through as a team and embrace my brothers right now."
