The Los Angeles Clippers brought in an underwhelming season last year under the leadership of DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul. Without the third player in the Big Three lineup, Blake Griffin, the Jamal Crawford squad floundered during games. Despite talks of Doc Rivers on the importance of all his stars in the roster, the Los Angeles Clippers front office may have had enough and decided to put matters in their own hands. As a result, a DeAndre Jordan trade might just happen this offseason.

The Big Three lineup of the Los Angeles Clippers has repeatedly failed to bring the NBA team to the Finals. Fans feel that DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are not bringing anything new to the table. That is, the Los Angeles Clippers are not winning because the team keeps following the same losing strategy. Is it time for a rebuild? Will a DeAndre Jordan trade push them to become better?

Rumors are rife that the Los Angeles Clippers have been secretly scouring the market for a replacement star for DeAndre Jordan. With the rising salary cap and the choice picks of free agents in 2017, the Chris Paul squad wants to clear up space and make way for bigger contracts next year. This is where Nerlens Noel makes for a promising deal.

The Philadelphia 76ers big man has been on the trading block since last NBA season. With Jahlil Okafor and Joel Embiid crowding the center post, the Sixers need to get rid of players who hold the same position. In addition to the prevalent Jahlil Okafor trade rumors, the speculated exit of Nerlens Noel from the Philadelphia 76ers is also widely talked about.

At this point, though, a DeAndre Jordan trade and a Nerlens Noel entry to the Los Angeles Clippers roster remain speculations. No official comment has been released by any of the parties involved in the NBA trade rumor. However, fans of the Los Angeles Clippers are hoping to see changes soon.

Right now, Doc Rivers is all praises for their big man. According to the Los Angeles Clippers head coach, the 2016 Rio Olympics experience of DeAndre Jordan has made him a more confident and better basketball leader.

"He sees himself now as a star," shared Doc Rivers of DeAndre Jordan. He added, "As good as he is, I don't think he's ever seen himself as one. He's always been the third guy so he's looked at himself as a role player in some ways. Now he knows how good he is and I think any time you're around winning, it's important, and I think DJ now knows what winning looks like."
