The Miami Heat just received spectacular news that could help catapult them to the top of the Eastern Conference this NBA season. Weeks following the need to pull him out of the games, Chris Bosh is reportedly back on track and is raring to pitch in the playoff dreams of the Dwyane Wade squad. The Miami Heat initially suffered an injury filled setback when both Bosh and Wade were out. With the center looking into the possibility of rejoining the team, it looks like the Hassan Whiteside squad would get a boost in their upcoming games.

"I know there have been many questions regarding my health and when I will play again," shared Bosh via Miami Herald. He added, "My situation this year has never been life threatening. I am feeling great and currently I do not have deep vein thrombosis."

According to the Mayo Clinic, deep vein thrombosis usually affects the legs. It "occurs when a blood clot (thrombus) forms in one or more of the deep veins in your body." This is a serious condition as it can cause veins to "break loose, travel through your bloodstream and lodge in your lungs, blocking blood flow (pulmonary embolism)."

"Together with the Miami Heat, I am working with doctors, exploring the best precautionary treatment options and taking every necessary step to make sure I am healthy for myself, my family and my team. I have been working out, training with the team, watching film of the games, walking through plays and have attended home games despite not being visible to the public," assured Bosh. He continued, "I will continue to support my teammates in every way possible. I remain positive that I will be able to return this season. I truly appreciate everyone's concern and support."

In the absence of Bosh, Luol Deng took on the role. With Hassan Whiteside by his side, the two led the Miami Heat to fast paced gameplay. Hence, the question of Bosh's desire to go back to the hardwood court makes some fans wonder if he still has a place. That is, if Deng will move out of the lineup to give way to Bosh.

"You can't replace Chris," said Wade of the issue via ESPN. He added, "And we're not trying to replace Chris."

Apart from his support for Bosh, Wade also noted that the Miami Heat could use more players to boost the roster.

"Obviously, we'd love to have Chris," he said. Wade further shared, "The biggest thing is everyone is happy. When you have a team, and somebody isn't talking in the locker room because they're not happy with what their role is, it's tough at this time of year. But right now everyone is happy with their role. Everyone is happy with their touches, minutes, involvement. I think the change of offense we had to do when Chris went out has been good for this team."
