The New York Knicks are slowly emerging as one of the most exciting teams in the NBA this offseason. With the addition of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah from the Chicago Bulls, exciting games are in store for the team that once only had Carmelo Anthony as their leader. However, sources claim that the Kristaps Porzingis squad now regrets the Derrick Rose trade they signed in the offseason.

The Chicago Bulls made it clear when the Jimmy Butler team failed to make it to the 2016 NBA playoffs that heads will roll in the offseason. However, fans were surprised when a Derrick Rose trade was actually executed. Initially, NBA analysts believe that the injuries of the former Chicago Bulls star pushed the now Dwyane Wade squad to go through the trade. As weeks pass though, the physical condition of Derrick Rose appears to be the least of the concerns of his former NBA team.

Nowadays, rumors are rife that the New York Knicks are regretting the Derrick Rose trade they made in the offseason. One of the reasons for this reactions is said to be the legal battles of the former Chicago Bulls star. The sexual battery case against Derrick Rose, which has the newly minted New York Knicks star facing potential jail time, is said to be weighing heavily among his teammates.

Speculations are swirling that Derrick Rose is receiving tremendous pressure from Carmelo Anthony and Joakim Noah over the case. While the charges have yet to be proven true, the New York Knicks front office and coaching staff are already reportedly panicking over the backlash of this lawsuit. Does the Kristaps Porzingis team now wish they had not signed Derrick Rose? Did the Chicago Bulls foresee this falling out?

At the moment, the answers remain unclear. As of this writing, the New York Knicks and Derrick Rose have nothing but praises for each other. In fact, even franchise star Carmelo Anthony expressed his happiness over the trade involving the Chicago Bulls star. The next days have yet to determine how the Kristaps Porzingis team will respond to the lawsuit involving Derrick Rose.

"We love them," shared Carmelo Anthony of the Derrick Rose trade and Joakim Noah free agency deal. The New York Knicks star added, "We love those additions. And we're looking forward to getting the season going. And I think everybody is excited, the excitement is back. Right now there's an adjustment on paper, but of course we have some work to do putting it all together, making it work. But we're going to ride the wave of this excitement right now."
