The Sacramento Kings are currently at the bottom portion of the Golden State Warriors dominated Western Conference. Despite the entry of Rajon Rondo to the DeMarcus Cousins squad, the team remains more than 20 games away from the Stephen Curry group. Hence, a number of Sacramento Kings fans are now wondering whether the move to sign the former Boston Celtics star was a wise decision. That is, should the Rudy Gay squad consider moving Rondo to make way for a basketball star capable of helping the team more?

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks also find themselves at the bottom ranks of the Eastern Conference. With LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers dominating the group, the Kristaps Porzingis squad is positioned below other problematic teams like the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic. While the performance of the New York Knicks this season showed a considerable improvement from their previous NBA year, Carmelo Anthony still hopes to get out of their playoff rut and finally be able to come face to face against greats like Tim Duncan, Kyle Lowry and Klay Thompson.

"I don't think envy is kind of the right word," said Anthony of how he feels about not making it to the NBA playoffs, according to the USA Today. He added, "I do look at my peers and say, 'Damn, what am I doing wrong? I should be there.' There was one point in time where they were looking at me like that. Right now it's kind of a rough patch for me. I'm trying to figure out a way to get out of it."

To help him with his goals, Anthony is now seeking the help of Rondo. The Sacramento Kings star, according to the New York Knicks franchise leader, will be a "perfect" addition to the team. Anthony added that the former Dallas Mavericks star would thrive in their game plays. He also shared that Rondo's refusal to join the team was based on a "misconception" he had about the triangle.

"I think Rondo - just me personally, I don't want to be tampering - but I've heard he said he wouldn't thrive in a system like this. I think he'd be perfect in a system like this," said Anthony via the New York Daily News.

He further commented on the type of play of the New York Knicks and said, "It is a misconception about that. Some of the keys of our offense is penetration, getting in the paint. "Pushing the pace, transition. Creating in the paint for bigs, for yourself, everybody else. I think a point guard would love that. Especially a point guard who can penetrate, create for yourself, create for others. I think it's a perfect opportunity for him."
