DeMarco Murray exited from the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles locker rooms with both NFL teams claiming that he was a difficult character to work with in and out of the gridiron. With his entry in the Tennessee Titans roster, fans of the NFL team fear that the same primadonna attitude will ruin the group. The fear intensified when the football squad signed a promising young rookie who can match Murray's talent in the field - Derrick Henry.

The Heisman Trophy winner, who won the hearts of the NFL fans including Tim Tebow, was signed by the Tennessee Titans as running back alongside ex-Philadelphia Eagles star DeMarco Murray. Given the rumors regarding the veteran running back, how will Derrick Henry handle the competition? Will Murray make things difficult for the young recruit? Is the promising Henry better off in another NFL team?

The answer appears to be in the negative.

Murray, who exited the Philadelphia Eagles soon after head coach Chip Kelly left the NFL team, reportedly expressed his support over Henry's entry. In fact, the experienced pro running back thinks the Heisman Trophy winner is a "great kid." Murray added that he is thrilled to be part of the team that will hone the skills of Henry.

"Everyone gets this misconception of, 'I want to be the only running back,'" shared Murray. He added, "But everywhere I've been, (in college at) Oklahoma, in Dallas, Philadelphia, I have always had other guys with me. I think the Titans are going to do a good job of letting me do what I do, and I think the other guys will have a chance as well."

Murray went on to share, "I have heard a lot of great things about (Henry). He's a great kid. I am excited to work with him. Obviously we have a lot of other running backs, too, I have gotten a chance to know. But I think Derrick coming in will push everybody, and I think it is only going to help the team. I am excited to have him and I want to teach him as much as I can and hopefully I can learn from him."

These statements were also echoed by Mike Mularkey. The Tennessee Titans head coach shared that Murray "loved the pick," adding that the former Dallas Cowboys star sees Henry as someone who can help him improve his craft. Mularkey noted that Murray is looking forward to working with the rookie, vowing to "make him a great player" while they are in the Tennessee Titans.
