The Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers have been in the spotlight since news broke the Colin Kaepernick wanted out of the Jarryd Hayne team. With the departure of Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler following their Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers of Cam Newton, the Von Miller squad found themselves without a quarterback. Although the entry of former Philadelphia Eagles star Mark Sanchez provided a bit of hope in the whole quarterback drama, it looks like the Denver Broncos want more than what the former DeMarco Murray team leader has to offer. Will Colin Kaepernick be the answer to their problems?

Kaepernick barely saw action last NFL season following the decision of the San Francisco 49ers to bench him in favor of Blaine Gabbert. The disappointing run of the Carlos Hyde team in the previous season prompted the front office to get rid of their head coach and sign Chip Kelly to helm their Super Bowl campaign this time around. Earlier rumors noted that the former Philadelphia Eagles head coach had been eager to work with Kaepernick. However, those comments might only have been lip service on the part of the new coach. Sources now claim that Kelly never truly wanted Kaepernick in the San Francisco 49ers lineup.

"If the 49ers don't trade Kaepernick to the Broncos, the quarterback could end up playing for a coach who doesn't want him on the team," revealed John Breech of CBS Sports. He further noted, "As crazy as that might sound, it's not impossible to believe. For one, if Kelly absolutely wanted Kaepernick to be his starting quarterback in 2016, there's no way the 49ers would've given Kaepernick permission to talk with potential trade partners, and there's no way he'd be hanging out at John Elway's house."

Citing that the free agency market has a shortage of "good quarterbacks," Breech pointed out that Kelly's reluctance to officially endorse Kaepernick indicates he is not "100 percent sold" on the troubled San Francisco 49ers star. At the moment, the San Francisco 49ers are not alone in their quest to sign a reliable quarterback. The list of NFL teams on the lookout for a good leader includes the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets.

Meanwhile, Warren Moon shared that signing with the Denver Broncos would be a good move for Kaepernick. According to the nine-time Pro Bowl star and the current commentator for the Seattle Seahawks Radio, the former Peyton Manning team can allow the embattled star to grow. Moon noted that the playing style of the Denver Broncos is "tailor-made" for Kaepernick.

Moon shared, "I just think that offense is more tailor-made for him. He doesn't have to be as effective of a passer in that offense. It would probably be like a 48-52 ratio in passing and running because that's what Gary Kubiak wants to do. He wants to run the football a little bit more and be more of a play-action-type of passing game and get him out on the corner. He can also add the read-option as part of his arsenal."

He added, "I think it's a perfect situation for Colin and he gets to be around John Elway, he gets to be around Gary Kubiak, who was a quarterback, so you'll have good mentorship around you."
