The New England Patriots are quietly rebuilding their roster. With the Tom Brady suspension still hanging over their heads this NFL offseason, the Rob Gronkowski squad is looking into ways to beef up the group. With their disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos in the past football season - a defeat that was even highlighted by the fact that Tom Brady looked healthier than Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler - the New England Patriots want to find their way back to the Super Bowl. Hence, it comes as no surprise that a Joey Bosa trade is said to be in the works.

The San Diego Chargers have yet to find a resolution to the Joey Bosa contract stalemate they are engaged in with the 2016 NFL Draft rookie. While teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles are finally given the chance to test their draftees in the gridiron, the Philip Rivers squad remains uncertain on the future of their youngest defensive end. With virtually no hope of finding a compromise, speculations point to a potential Joey Bosa trade to the New England Patriots.

"My advice to any player that's going through any kind of contract situation is that, at one point, you've got to be a man and you've got to understand that you've got to get ready to play," said Antonio Gates of the Joey Bosa contract issue. The San Diego Chargers veteran added, "Sometimes you've got to just, as a man, you've got to step in and say, 'This is what it's going to be.'"

Gates further shared, "Because sometimes, whether or not [there is] miscommunication with the general manager or the agent, whatever it is, at the end of the day, it's your life, it's your career."

Despite the comments from his teammate, the Joey Bosa contract dispute remains unsolved. The rookie, who had been a targeted player of the Dallas Cowboys as well, appears to be determined to even sit out the NFL season if the San Diego Chargers opt to not meet his demands. However, it looks like a Joey Bosa trade might just be the answer to this dilemma.

The Tom Brady squad had not been active in the NFL drafts. While their current roster, which boasts of the likes of Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski, has remarkable football stars, the New England Patriots are said to be looking into ways to build a team composed of younger superstars. With this in mind, rumors are rife that the San Diego Chargers rookie, who has been pegged as the JJ Watt 2.0, might just be part of the list of football stars the New England Patriots plan to sign soon.

At this point, no official confirmation from the parties concerned has been given. However, the Joey Bosa fans seem to be eager to see their idol suit up alongside Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham in the New England Patriots. Will the San Diego Chargers give him up?
