This matchup will determine who gets first place in the NFC East. The Eagles hope to remain unbeaten in the division and deny the Cowboys a third consecutive victory; both teams have an 8-3 record this season.

"It's going to be a great game," Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox said. "I'm really excited, man. I'm looking forward to it. We're ready to roll. We're ready for Thursday."

The Eagles are trying to keep the wins coming; according to an Associated Press report, the team managed to win at home 43-24 over the Tennessee Titans after losing spectacularly to the Green Bay Packers in Week 11.

"We had to stay focused on Tennessee all week," Eagles linebacker Trent Cole said. "That was the next game. And we were coming off a bad game. So there was no reason to think about Dallas. But now we can. Now, it's all about Dallas. If you can't get excited for this game, you shouldn't be playing football."

According to Anthony Riccobono of International Business Times, Dallas and Philadelphia had similar seasons thanks to both a weak schedule and losses against winning teams. However, he thinks the Cowboys will win the Thanksgiving matchup.

"Tony Romo is in the midst of, possibly, his best season ever, and has flown under the radar as an MVP candidate," Riccobono wrote. "Only Aaron Rodgers has a better passer rating, and the quarterback has thrown 21 touchdowns and three interceptions, following a poor performance in the season opener."

Riccobono added that neither team has won a game by less than a field goal.

The Associated Press agrees with the notion that Romo is playing at his best, citing the fact he has thrown for seven touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two games. His gameplay was seen most recently in the Cowboys game against the New York Giants, where Dallas won 31-28 thanks to his completion of 18 of 26 passes for 275 yards and four scores.

"Everybody knows that we won, but when we land in Dallas, that game no longer matters," Cowboys wide receiver Dez Byant said.

Despite being tired after playing for 90 hours, Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is looking forward to Thursday's game.

"I think the excitement and adrenaline can override how tired you are," Witten said. "It's a great opportunity for us. You can't worry about anything else. Just get through it and move forward."

Although Dallas may be considered America's football team by some people, it's not stopping cornerback Cary Williams and the Eagles from meeting the challenge of trying to beat them.

"We want to win our division," Williams said. "They are a great opponent. They have a great team and are playing at a high level right now."
