The San Francisco 49ers will play against quarterback Eli Manning and the New York Giants this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, which will air on FOX. Fans can watch online the 49ers vs. Giants NFL game via live stream - free for subscribers - below.

Sunday's game comes on the heels of the 49ers squeaking out an overtime victory against the New Orleans Saints 27-24 in Week 10. According to Cam Inman of San Jose Mercury News, the 49ers had a total of 144 rushing yards, the most the team had in four games.

"It was good to get the offensive line going and get the running game going," Frank Gore said in regards to the 49ers' performance in New Orleans.

The 49ers (5-4) are considered the four-point favorite over the Giants (3-6), according to Peter Panacy of Bleacher Report. The San Francisco team will be facing a New York squad that has lost four straight games this season.

That's because, according to Patricia Traina of Bleacher Report, the Giants had big problems in its defense, which is supposed to be strong.

"The league's 32nd-ranked defensive unit has allowed 953 yards of total offense-448 rushing yards and 505 passing yards since returning from the bye week-while being outscored 78-41," Traina wrote.

The Giants face the 49ers after a stunning 38-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks during Week 10. Traina noted that the mood in the Giants locker room has shown signs of frustration over being a laughingstock in the NFL.

"Nobody wants records set on them," Giants linebacker Jameel McClain said. "I hate it; it still makes me sick."

However, Giants linebacker Devon Kennard did not see the sour mood about his team's performance as a negative.

"It's upsetting, and that's a good thing in my eyes, because if you're in a locker room full of guys who are okay with how things are going, then that's dangerous," Kennard said.

While the odds may be stacked against the Giants, Sunday's game will not be a cakewalk for the 49ers either. According to Panacy, the 49ers have to keep the momentum going, even though the team managed to save their season in Week 10.

Inman suggests that the 49ers should stick with their rushing attacks when they play New York. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin of the 49ers thinks that a "run-first mentality" would work in the upcoming game.

"What we want to do is be balanced," Boldin said. "First of all, we want to establish the run, and we feel if we do that, everything builds off that."

Panacy wrote that in terms of offense, defense and special teams, San Francisco has the upper hand over New York on paper. Based on that conjecture, he believes that "the 49ers are in a position to break out against a lowly Giants opponent."

According to Traina, Sunday's game will be the 30th regular-season meeting between the Giants and 49ers. Out of those meetings, New York has a 15-14 lead in the series and is 8-7 against the 49ers at home.

The game will begin airing at 1 p.m. ET, and live stream can be watched online by clicking here
