Olympics Opening Ceremony Live Stream Free, 2014 NBC TV Schedule: Watch Sochi Winter Games Online, Start Time

The opening ceremony for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics will take place Friday, Feb. 7 at Fisht Olympic Stadium in Russia. With more Winter Olympic events than ever before, competition for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games will begin one day prior to the Opening Ceremony.

NBC will begin its primetime coverage of the 2014 Sochi Olympics on Thursday, February 6, at 8 p.m. ET. This marks the first time NBC will air Olympic primetime coverage before the Opening Ceremony. 

Here's how you can watch the Opening ceremony in the U.S.

When: Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. EST

Where: Sochi's Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi, Russia

TV Channel: NBC

The primetime broadcast on Feb. 6 is scheduled to include competition in snowboard slopestyle (men's and women's), team figure skating along with women's freestyle skiing. 

NBC Sports Network (NBCSN)'s Olympic coverage begins Saturday, Feb. 8 at 3 a.m. ET/Midnight PT, when Team USA faces Finland in women's hockey, and concludes Sunday, Feb. 23, the final day of the Sochi Games.
